This Annapolis Valley Project of Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotiais a community-based, not-for-profit organization dedicated to building a community where everyone has a safe, decent place to live. The mission of the organization is to mobilize volunteers and community partners to build affordable housing and promote home ownership as a means to break the cycle of poverty.
Saturday, December 3rd, we dedicated our first Habitat - built homes in the Annapolis Valley! What an awesome Christmas present we were able to provide to two wonderful families! Thank you for all your help and support! If you missed this one, don't worry - join us in our next build!

Dexter Paving Donates!!
Dexter paving did the work repaving the main road due to sewer/water work at the house! Both the crew and the company donated all of their time and the materials!! THANK YOU!!! You're Awesome!
Our first annual Handbags for Habitat went over very well! We had a lot of fun! We have some new supporters and brought awareness for our vision of building a community where everyone has a safe, decent place to live. We are looking forward to next year, start looking over your handbags!! Thanks to everyone who donated a bag, worked event, or simply came and supported the event. We made $3,100 profit which is really great for a first time around!
